Suicide Prevention in the Workplace

Suicide is personal, but it is also a public health issue that affects work, communities, and families. By improving an employee’s understanding of mental health and suicide prevention, they can be a key partner in the effort to prevent suicides by recognizing and connecting with individuals at risk for and displaying suicide warning signs.

Suicide Prevention in the Workplace Training

COEF now offers Suicide Prevention in the Workplace training focused on increasing capacity, competency, and confidence of employees to reduce the devastating impact of suicide in the workplace.

Training Goals:

Reduce stigma and raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention
Promote open dialogue around mental health wellness
Encourage help-seeking and help-giving behaviors
